How to create Customers Segment to send Email to them

Introduction

Increase the relevancy of your marketing campaign by sending email messages based on the dynamic customer segments. This is a step-to-step guide to creating Customers Segment and then sending Emails to them.

Workflow

Follow the steps below to send an email to the segmented list of customers:

Step 1. Login to AiTrillion.

Step 2. Go to Email Marketing > Contacts > Segments from the sidebar navigation.

Step 3. Now, click on the Create New Segment button to make a new segment or click on the edit button to edit a segment.

Step 4. In the window that opens, click on the Add filter button.

Now, choose a customer filtering condition accordingly and click on Run Filter.

Note: You can choose more than one filter at a time.

Step 5. Click on Save Segment. This button will be visible only after you run the filter in step 4.

Give it a name and click Save Segment again.

Step 6. After creating a segment, go to Email Marketing > Campaigns

Step 7. Now, click the Create Campaign tab at the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 8. In this window click on the Choose your audience tab and select a created segment (for example Name contains A) to which you want to send the bulk emails Then, click on the Save and Continue button to proceed.

Step 9. Upon saving, a new tab will open with email settings. Customize the email that you wish to send from this tab. Once done, feel free to send a test message or click on save and continue if you are happy with your settings.
