How to setup Loyalty Points Expiry


Offer time triggered benefits to your customers so that they choose to shop immediately from your eCommerce store.

Use this guide to set the expiry date, after which all the loyalty reward points earned by a customer shall expire and the points counter shall reset.


Step 1. Login to AiTrillion.

Step 2. Go to Loyalty Rewards > Redeem Points> Point Expire Setting

Step 3. Enable the feature from the top right corner of the screen, enter the number of days after which the points shall expire then click on Update Settings.


  1. The loyalty point expiry settings depend on the customer’s last order. Suppose someone’s points are about to expire and he placed an order then the count will start from 1 for him.
  2. Any update in the point expiry setting will reset the point expiration date of all customers. For example, if the point expires is set to 90 days. And after 60 days it is reset to 180 days. So it will update for all customers’ point expiration dates. (including those customers whose points were about to expire in 30 days according to the previous setting)
  3. If the point expires setting is disabled. It will also remove the point expiration date for all customers. No customer will lose their point if the setting is disabled.
